How to change Sun and Moon texture in Roblox
Here is the video transcript for changing the Sun and Moon Texture in Roblox:
“If you want to know how to change the texture of the sun in Roblox, as well as the moon and how to make them both bigger, you’re going to want to make sure that you watch all of this video all the way to the end, ‘cos you don’t want to miss out on anything.
So, welcome back to another tutorial, where today we’ll be learning how to change the textures of the sun and moon in Roblox. We’ll also be learning how to make the moon and sun bigger and smaller. Before we begin though, make sure that you’ve subscribed to my YouTube channel and that you’ve turned on the notifications, so you never miss when I upload a video.
So, changing the sun and the moon is very, very simple now. All that you have to do, now that Roblox has opened it up to developers, is right click on the lighting, hover over “insert objects” and click on “sky”. Once you’ve done this, you’re able to change the sun angular size, which is the size of the sun and you’re also able to change the size of the moon. So, to do this you’re going to want to find a decal and you’re going to want to paste it in the sun texture ID and there you go, the sun is changed and you can change the size of that and if you also want to change the moon, which is over here, you can scroll up, find the moon texture ID and paste in your asset. You can also change the angular size of that – you can make it smaller or you can make it bigger, like that.
Alright! So, that was a very quick tutorial on how to do that. If you want to have more Roblox lighting and sky tutorials, let me know in the description down below and I’ll see what I can do. Here’s what it looks like though at night time… Wonderful!
